Le Musigny, Jadot

Note:

While it is often extremely difficult to find, this may be vintage in and vintage out Jadot`s finest red and not surprisingly, only the Clos de Bèze really challenges it in `03. The immensely complex nose is backward, tight and brooding yet vigorous swirling reveals reluctant nose of violets, dark cherry and oriental spices that seamlessly merge into big, rich, opulent and exceptionally classy flavours that are round, sweet, deep and completely coat the palate on the powerfully long finish that goes on and on. The tannins are suave with a velvety texture and gorgeous mouth feel. A flat out superb effort that will age for decades.
