Richebourg, Anne Gros

Note:

Here too there is noticeable wood influence but it`s less obvious and does not really interfere with the transparency of the spicy nose of red currants, blue berries and cassis that is cool and restrained. There is outstanding intensity to the mineral-driven big-bodied flavours that are both slightly tighter but notably finer than those of the Clos de Vougeot, not to mention more serious and longer with notably less of the overt sweetness. While certainly a big and muscular effort, it is actually quite refined and should be exceptional in time.
