Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru, Joseph Drouhin

Note:

Quite dark for a Drouhin wine with predominantly black fruit that is bright and racy with a bit of the sauvage, touch of earth and more structure than the villages Chambolle. Very ripe, very rich pinot flavours yet there is no sense of heaviness. It will be tempting to drink this young because of all the pinot baby fat but it should age well as there is good acidity and structure beneath the richness.
