Horseshoe Hillside Vineyard Pinot Noir, Rhys Vineyards

Note:

Once again there is a distinct restraint to the more deeply pitched and slightly riper nose of poached plum, dark raspberry, spice and violet scents. There is fine volume and power to the concentrated, serious and tautly muscular flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the robust and grippy finale that also flashes a touch of bitter pit fruit character. This is a big but balanced wine but unlike several of the foregoing wines, this broad-shouldered effort will need a long snooze in a cool cellar.
