Pommard 1er Cru Charmots, Ballot-Millot

Note:

A markedly earthy and forest floor infused nose speaks mostly of very ripe aromas of red currant and dark raspberry. The lush, rich and relatively full bodied flavours coat the mouth with dry extract while also buffering the firm supporting tannins on the impressively powerful finish where a touch of mocha is to be found. This is definitely on the riper side, but I suspect that will progressively recede as the wine ages. Worth a look provided you have the patience to age it.
