Meursault Tête de Murger, Patrick Javillier

Note:

The 2010 Meursault Tête de Murgers has a limpid straw hue. Crisp and almost Chablis-like on the nose, it offers enticing scents of lanolin and dried grass clippings, and later crushed limestone. The palate has retained excellent balance and tension, and a judicious twist of bitter lemon keeps this Meursault on edge. Frankly equivalent to a Premier Cru in terms of overall quality. This has aged wonderfully. Tasted at Hatched restaurant in London.
