Beaune 1er Cru Greves, Lafarge

Note:

The 2015 Beaune 1er Cru Greves comes from Lafarge`s oldest vines—now a not too shabby 94 years old. It offers candied orange peel and red cherries on the nose, somehow quite “lighthearted” and “carefree” compared to others. The palate is fresh and vibrant, very focused with super-fine tannin, crisp acidity and a little more precision than the Beaune Aigrots. The salinity on the finish takes you back for another sip and by that time, you are telephoning your husband or wife or anyone nearby to back up the truck and load up on this outstanding Beaune.
