Le Montrachet, Grand Cru, Fontaine-Gagnard

Note:

This wonderfully fresh Montrachet possesses the most aromatically complex nose in the entire range though it displays its gifts with admirable restraint. As big, rich, intense and overtly powerful as the Criots and Bâtard are, this goes them one better as the full-bodied and seriously concentrated flavors are borderline painfully intense before culminating in an explosively long and mineral-driven finish. At present this closely resembles a block of stone and it`s clear that this will require ample cellar time to arrive at its full, and most impressive, potential.
