Les Amis, Torbreck Barossa Valley, Australia

Note:

It`s my opinion that the 2010 Les Amis is in a developmental trough at the moment, as it just wasn`t quite as expressive and flamboyant as either the 2009 or recent vintages, despite being a terrific year. It`s full bodied, ripe and silky in texture, with gorgeous floral aromatics, raspberry fruit and hints of vanilla and cedar lurking in the background. Still youthful, it should drink well through 2030 if properly cellared.
