The 2018 Halenberg Riesling Grosses Gewachs is enormously ripe and intense on the concentrated and mineral, even powerful nose. Full-bodied and with lots of tension that didn`t leave the palate and stays even after swallowing this giant Riesling, this is a rich but elegant, precise and piquant Halenberg with firm phenolic structure and grip and some minty notes on the aftertaste. The finish is intense and powerful and indicates great class and very good aging potential. 13% alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in August and October 2019.
