A shy and reserved red pinot fruit nose is cut with light spice, warm earth and floral notes that give way to rich, succulent and seductively textured big-bodied flavors that possess a sleek muscularity and excellent volume on the powerful, dusty and borderline chewy finish but with none of the rusticity that Malconsorts sometimes exhibits. This is terrific and highly complex already. Patience required though.
