Discreet but perceptible wood frames aromas of plum, floral and spice nuances that are not quite as fresh. There is better freshness to the succulent, round and seductively textured flavors that exude a lovely salinity on the youthfully austere but less complex and persistent finale. Given the performance of the other wines in the range, my projected range offers the benefit of the doubt that the nose will recover better freshness in time.
