Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, Tortochot

Note:

This is aromatically similar to the Chambertin but with more floral elements. There is a lovely richness and concentration, if less refinement, to the larger-bodied, serious and solidly powerful flavors that brim with dry extract before culminating in a lingering and youthfully austere though curiously sweet finish. The sweetness may not last but for the moment, this is somewhat atypical.
