Clos de la Roche Grand Cru, Maison Roche de Bellene

Note:

A pungent and borderline unpleasant nose consists of notes of reduction and residual secondary fermentation. There is outstanding size, weight, concentration and punch to the soil-inflected flavors that display plenty of muscle on the linear, austere and impressively persistent finish. This moderately powerful effort is notably less refined than the Clos St. Denis but even more complex. A qualitative choice.
