Here the brooding nose is also very earthy with its array of spice, cassis and plum liqueur-scented aromas. Like the Lavières, the medium weight flavors possess an ultra-sleek mouth feel as well as lovely delineation that carry over to the slightly firmer if a bit less complex and persistent finale. This moderately robust effort will require at least some patience.
