Volnay, Santenots, 1er Cru, Darviot Perrin

Located in Les Plures with a fraction (2 ouvrées) in Santenots Blanc. Fine clear crimson. One new barrel in four, none for the other reds. A touch more precision, similar depth, more raspberry and strawberry, with a longer finish, showing a little touch of oak. Good length once again. A wilder note at the back removes the possible fourth star for the time being. Drink from 2026-2032. Tasted Oct 2022.
