Noticeable though not dominant wood frames the green apple, wet stone, citrus zest and white flower suffused nose. There is excellent size, weight, power and punch to the broad-shouldered flavors that possess very fine richness as well as plenty of mid-palate stuffing, all wrapped in a racy, balanced and impressively long finish. Unlike the prior wines this is going to need some bottle age to develop better depth and harmony.
