Slightly flat aromas are comprised by notes of cassis, dark cherry and a whiff of the sauvage. The bigger, richer and more concentrated if less refined flavors are shaped by firmer and ever-so-slightly rustic tannins on the raspy finish that flirts with dryness though not so much as to cut the length short.
