As elegant as the villages is this is a clear step up, mostly in the aspect of refinement as the depth on the floral nose is about the same though the minerality here is almost pungent and the stone-infused flavors seem extracted from liquid rock, all wrapped in an explosive delicious, pure and citrus-infused finish. A wonderful wine that is built to age over the medium term and also well worth a look.
