A much more deeply pitched nose is less elegant but with better layering of the aromas of plum, newly turned earth and the sauvage. The rich, full-bodied, concentrated and powerful larger-bodied flavors coat the palate on the robust and moderately rustic finish that is impressively long and a bit less austere than it usually is. With that said, in contrast to the prior wines, this will definitely need at least some patience as it is presently quite tightly wound.
