A spicy and pungently floral nose is highly perfumed with cool and pure red pinot fruit aromas. There is outstanding concentration and punch to the big-bodied, textured and highly energetic flavors that ooze a fine minerality on the superbly complex, balanced and stunningly long finish. Like the Clos des Chênes, this is a seriously impressive effort and one of the two best Fremiers of the vintage.
