Chablis, Les Clos, Grand Cru, Dauvissat
Note:
As there was when first reviewed (see herein), there is a barely discernible touch of wood framing the green apple, lemon peel, floral, iodine and oyster shell nuances where a subtle nuance of exotic fruit hovers in the background. The intense, powerful and sleekly muscular big-bodied flavors possess excellent volume and mid-palate concentration before terminating in a long, crisp and very dry finish. This is really quite good and particularly so for the vintage though I would definitely advise at least some continued patience as this remains fairly tightly wound.
