Morey-St-Denis 1er Cru Les Millandes, Anne et Herve Sigaut

This is ripe enough that it lacks a bit of freshness (though it`s not flat) on the aromas of purple fruit, violet and warm earth. There is fine volume and intensity on the opulent and seductively textured larger-scaled flavors that firm up on the concentrated, serious, powerful and structured finale. The nose may recover as the wine ages, but I have concerns that it could also become flat.
