This is also quite aromatically restrained with its cool aromas of newly turned earth, spiced plum and a whiff of the sauvage. There is first-rate underlying tension to the lightly stony medium weight flavors that deliver slightly better depth on the sneaky long, compact and youthfully austere finale. As it virtually always does chez Audoin, this is going to need at least moderate patience but should be well worth the wait.
