This vineyard delivers small concentrated bunches which were not destemmed at all as there is plenty of clay in the soil and the whole bunches energise the fruit. Black fruit, indeed morello cherries, I can see why this needs lifting. Very thick succulent texture, and quite good length. Not quite the natural joy of Goulots, but a really good wine.
