A dense purple but not black. Deep dark fruit also on the palate, firm tannins, even a little youthful bitterness, which helps to tame the fact that the alcohol is a little bit higher here. Nothing dried out, this is just a Clos Vougeot on a relatively large scale. Tasted Nov 2021.
