Dark in colour with a notable latent power. Quite firm tannins in the mouth, making for a substantial edifice, some liquorice, a considerable depth of dark fruit, the Vigne de l’Enfant Jesús has a great deal in reserve. A sleeper amongst many rather more forward Beaunes. Drink from 2028-2038. Tasted Sep 2024.
