Arcuria, Etna Bianco, Graci

Note:

The older vineyard and the more famous of these two Etna Biancos, the Arcuria is a bit solider, ‘broader’ maybe, with bracing, dry flavours of lemon zest, green apply, herb and sea salt that give way to some (slightly !) richer tones of honeysuckle and spice.  Long, dense, dry, bright, fresh, savoury, saline on the palate.  You can see where this will end up – the power of the Carricante will be tamed over a few years and we’ll see the more of the honeysuckle and the filigree of minerality (or salinity ??) emerge over the years.  This tastes so natural, so clean and very dense.  Will be long lived.  (Renaissance) // The Graci 2022 Etna Bianco Arcurìa has a sweet note of peach or apple on the mid-palate, but it also shows citrusy definition and crushed stone that add focus and sharpness. You`ll recognize that special Arcurìa signature that comes forth as honey with a hint of spicy saffron.            (Monica Larner)
