Bourgogne Rouge, Groffier (Robert)

Note:

The 2015 Bourgogne Rouge was matured in one-year-old barrels as usual. It has a composed and quite floral bouquet, here a mixture of red and black fruit, nicely detailed and pretty. The palate is well balanced with crunchy red berry fruit, well-judged acidity and a slightly chalky finish. I appreciate the precision here and for a generic Burgundy, it displays commendable mineralité on the aftertaste.
