The vines were planted in 1928, on the flat in the quarry, but surrounded by walls of rock. A rich bright purple. Huge energy. Very stylish on the palate, glossy yet complete, darker fruit here with a little pepper at the finish. A really impressive fine long finish with great depth. Drink from 2030-2036. Tasted Nov 2024.
