A cooler and more elegant nose offers up notes of earth and herbal tea on the red cherry, raspberry and soft sauvage nuances. There is very solid volume to the well-defined medium weight flavors that are notably more mineral-driven on the mildly chalky, austere and nicely long finish that is actually fairly refined.
